Dalmiya’s Show Afro-Asian Cup

Invented by Jagmohan Dalmiya’s brain, begun in August 2005 he Afro-Asia cup now is seen loosing its glory. The Afro-Asia cup got worldwide support in the time of jagmohan dalimiya hold office. Dalmiya did all efforts to get full ODI status for this tournaments status. Now Mateches of this tournament have full ODI status means all records of this tournament are counted in record book after that It became a big revenue event for the Asian Cricket Council and the African Cricket Association. The inaugural tournament took place in South Africa in August 2005, but it proved a big turn-off with the public, although millions were raised through TV and commercial tie-ups.

Players play for their continent in this tournament means they have wide vision in the game. But now this tournament is losing its glory. Cricket lovers do not have much interest in it and it hardly get sponsors. Controversy of TV telecast also one of the reasons for losing glory.

The First Afro – Asian cup was drawn 1-1 after rain-washed out the decider in Durban. Now it is saying that schdule arranged for it to be played in the wrong place at the wrong time - during the start of southern India's monsoon season.

But now tournament is in underway and some of players have chance to boost their career. Eyes on virandra Sehwag and Nel who are not very sure  their place in their team.
